The Lancaster Bed & Breakfast

A Relaxing Town and Countryside Getaway

The Lancaster Bed & Breakfast is a warm and welcoming boutique accommodation at the gateway of old versus new. It is just over a mile from the vibrant city center of Lancaster with its food and brewery scenes, art galleries, and the historic Central Market.  The B&B is also within 5 miles of the Pennsylvania Dutch countryside and its centuries-old traditions. The Inn's central location is the perfect destination for exploring all that Amish Country has to offer. (Our proximity to the Lancaster County Convention Center is also convenient for business travelers!)

The Lancaster Bed & Breakfast is also a great place to stay near the many iconic Lancaster theaters nearby: Fulton Theater, American Music Theater, and Sight & Sound.  There is shopping to suit anyone's taste from antiques and quilts to outlets. The surrounding PA Dutch Country offers hiking, biking, and kayaking for the outdoor enthusiast.

We work hard to set the highest standard of excellence and warm hospitality among the bed and breakfasts of Lancaster, PA, and look forward to welcoming you to our breakfast table.

Built in 1912, the stately Inn, boasting 7 guest rooms, has been lovingly maintained to retain its warmth and vintage sophistication.  Choose from one of the five unique rooms of the original home, or one of the two rooms in our cozy cottage.  Spend time relaxing by one of the two fireplaces, or outside, either in an adirondack chair by the goldfish pond and gardens, or porch swing on the patio.  And, of course, after a good night's sleep, breakfast is on us. Homemade, locally-sourced, gourmet and delicious!

The Lancaster B&B Blog ...

Travelers can go just about anywhere these days, but when they choose The Lancaster Bed and Breakfast and leave feeling so impressed that they share their experience with the world — that means something. We always want people to feel cared for, welcomed, and part of something a little magical. And we must be doing something right, because we’ve just been honored...

We may be a little biased, but we think Lancaster County is simply beautiful – in so many ways. Home to the oldest and largest Amish settlement in the country, life here moves at a different pace. Visitors are drawn in by the sense of calm, simplicity, and deep-rooted tradition that defines the Amish way of life. Spending a day getting a glimpse of that world is one of the most memorable...
